USDA Butchering Fees:
Beef Slaughter: $225.00
Pork Slaughter: $195.00 (Scalded 260# or less or Skinner)
Lamb/Goat/Veal Slaughter: $120.00
Yak/Reindeer: $225.00
Elk/Bison Slaughter: $450.00 (for remote slaughter)
Carry out Fee: $60 for your animal shrink wrapped on a palet.
Storage Fees:
Aging Carcasses: $10.00 per day
• Aging contingent upon space availability.
Product Storage (Freeze): $7.00 per box per day
• Alaska Meat Packers is not a product storage facility. Storage fee begins to accrue on the 4th day after initial notification of completion.
** After 30 days product will become property of Alaska Meat Packers **
Live Weight Fee:
Live Weight/Yield: Included in Slaughter Fee
Payment:
Payment in full is expected at pickup/delivery unless alternative arrangements have been made.
Scheduling:
Help us help you and the next farmer by scheduling your animal(s) accordingly. Any animals scheduled for slaughter can be cancelled up to seven (14) business days before the scheduled slaughter date without being charged.
Animals not cancelled within seven (14) business days, or not delivered on the scheduled date, will be charged a slaughter fee per animal.
Instructions:
Destination and Cut & Wrap instructions are required on or before delivery of live animals.
Animals need to be dropped off the day before your scheduled slaughter date between 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
